Made from 420HC steel, the 2.4” drop point blade has increased hardness and corrosion resistance, and is beast-blasted for a matte look. Contoured, lightweight aluminum handle is both scratch and fade resistant. Designed for safety, this assisted opening knife has a dual locking system – a frame lock that secures the blade while open and a tip-lock slider that keeps it closed when folded. Versatile carry options include a pocketclip for right-handed tip-up carry, and a pre-drilled lanyard hole point for easy connection to keychains, backpacks and more. The blade is 420HC, a high-carbon stainless steel blade with good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. For an easy-to-maintain matte finish, the blade is bead-blasted. And as always, the Scallion comes equipped with Speed Safe assisted opening. With Speed Safe, you can open the blade one-handed. Just pull back on the ambidextrous blade protrusion or push on the thumb stud and the blade moves out of the handle, ready for use. To get that discrete olive drab color, we anodize the Scallion's aluminum handle scales so they will accept a dye to produce our scratch resistant, colorful handles. A locking steel liner secures the blade when open and is easy to close for storage. A Tip-Lock builds in extra safety during transport. Just move the slider built into the handle to help guard against accidental opening.
