The Marco EW2-M 24V electronic ship whistle is a compact and powerful sound signal device for ships from 20 to 75 metres in length. With a sound pressure of over 130 dB at 1 m and a frequency of 690 Hz, it ensures safe signaling in fog and poor visibility, according to COLREG 1972 IMO Class III. The IP67 rated speaker with 1.5 m pre-wired cable and electronic control unit allow you to activate an automatic fog horn signal at the 60 or 90 second interval. In addition, a manual sound function is available, which always has priority over other signals. Thanks to the integrated Class-AB voice amplification (model M), announcements can be made via an optional microphone. With dimensions of approx. Diameter 320 x 440 mm and a total weight of approx. 7 kg, the EW2-M is compact and robust. The power supply is via 24 V DC with a current consumption of approx. 5A Approved by RINA, Lloyd's Register and BSH Germany, the EW2-M complies with all international regulations and is the ideal choice for professional shipping and yachts.
