Studies have shown BPA exposure can lead to cancer, infertility, heart disease and diabetes. Unknown to the public, manufacturers have switched to using BPS (Bisphenol-S), an equally harmful chemical. EcoChit white receipt rolls contain no BPA or BPS and instead uses a new phenol-free chemical called Pergafast, which has not shown any negative effects on humans.
